    It's rare to find a large chalet just a few minutes walk from the centre of Chamonix - especially one that has been renovated to such a high standard.

    Chalet les Sauberands is a wonderful 6-bedroom property that has been completely refurbished using the finest local materials, including aged oak and rejuvenated existing timbers. The chalet combines traditional Savoyard charm with modern luxuries such as underfloor heating, Wifi on all floors, a wired-in sound system throughout and an outdoor hot tub and swimming pool.

    On entering the chalet, the hallway has plentiful cupboard space for storing coats and shoes and a separate toilet. There is a TV lounge/media room equipped with satellite TV offering a range of UK channels and glass doors leading out onto the deck. Two of the six bedrooms are on this level, both of which have their own ensuite shower room and WC. There is a boiler room with a washing machine and tumble dryer facilities and a small private study area on the ground floor should you need a quiet space to concentrate. The garage can also be accessed directly from the hallway where you will find plenty space for ski/bike storage and a heated boot rack.

    The main living area of the chalet is light and spacious and located on the first floor. There is a modern, fully equipped kitchen which opens directly onto the dining area which will comfortably accommodate 12 people around the table. The lounge has ample comfortable seating and an open stone fireplace to cosy around during the winter months. Three sets of glass doors lead from the lounge onto a balcony with stunning views of Mont Blanc. There is an external staircase that leads down from the balcony to the deck which has an eight-person hot tub and opens onto a large garden (also accessible from the TV room on the ground floor). There is one bedroom on the first floor with a bathroom and an additional WC. On the second floor, there are the remaining three bedrooms (one with an ensuite shower room) and a separate bathroom. All of the bedrooms in the chalet are flexible so can be prepared as double or twin beds.

    What really makes Chalet Sauberands stand out is its outdoor space. In addition to the balcony and deck area with hot tub, the property also has a beautiful private garden with its own outdoor pool (summer months only). It is one of the few chalets in Chamonix with private pool facilities and you'd be hard pushed to find a more spectacular spot to take a dip with Mont Blanc as your backdrop. The deck area has outdoor dining furniture and there is a also BBQ which may be used during the summer months. If you are coming with a car then there is covered parking for 2 vehicles beside the chalet, plus additional spaces on the driveway. Chalet Sauberands is a luxurious and stylish choice of chalet for up to 12 guests with the convenience of being just a few minutes walk from the town centre.

    The living area, dining area and modern kitchen is open plan and very spacious. Three sets of glass doors open onto a balcony with mountain views. Steps lead down to the deck and hot tub and opens onto a large garden.

    1 en-suite bedroom, 2 further flexible bedrooms and a separate bathroom.
    Chalet les Sauberands is situated just to the east of the town centre. It is on Chemin des Sauberands and close to "les Planards" nursery slopes. It is 450 metres on foot to Avenue Michel Croz, the start of the main shopping streets in Chamonix. The nearest supermarket is Casino in the town centre (650 metres) or Carrefour Market (same distance. There are a couple of restaurants and bars within 200 metres, but the main choices are in the town centre. For access to the skiing, the nursery slopes of les Planards are a short walk away. For the main ski areas, the nearest is Brévent, just to the north of Chamonix centre, 1500 metres away (3-4 minutes by car or bus). The nearest bus stop is 200 metres away at the gare du Montenvers, with the main train station 450 metres away.
