The chalet sleeps up to 18 people in 8 bedrooms. There is a maximum of 16 separate beds available, configured as follows:

Our Opinion

For us, Chalet l’Orignal has a grand, impressive feel. The open plan living area is stylish and spacious and benefits from a double height ceiling. This is one of our largest properties and is well suited for groups offering excellent flexibility as the majority of the bedrooms can be set up as double or twin rooms. The separate apartment also offers privacy for those who want it. The kitchen is well set up for professional catering and the spa facilities add to the luxury of the chalet.

Location

The chalet is situated in les Pècles, a sought after location on the sunny side of the Chamonix Valley, just to the west of the town centre. It is a pleasant, quiet 10 minute walk (750 metres) to rue Paccard, Chamonix's main shopping street. The nearest supermarket is Casino, on the west side of the town centre (10 minutes walk), with the nearest bars/restaurants being le Vert (800 metres) and the Vagabond (500 metres). For access to the slopes, it is preferable to have a car in this location, but there is an alleyway through to Route des Gaillands where guests can catch the bus or train from Moussoux station.

First floor (street level) Entrance into a lobby with storage with plenty of hanging for jackets and toilet. Open plan living dining and lounge are with central fireplace and television. Master double bedroom with ensuite shower and bath. Second flexible ensuite bedroom. Stairs down to bedroom and garden level. Lower floor (garden level) Second entrance via steps from the driveway. Second lounge area and wetroom. 5 flexible bedrooms all with garden/deck access, all ensuite, of which 1 has a bath. Acess via deck to sauna, hot tub and external seating area. Across deck is the self-contained studio apartment with flexible bedroom, double sofabed and shower room.
