La Ferme du Tour is a 19th Century French farmhouse that has been beautifully refurbished and furnished.
The entrance opens into the spacious open plan living area and has storage for ski boots. The kitchen is fully fitted and includes a washing machine and the dining table seats 8 comfortably. The rest of this floor is a large, charming lounge with an open fire. There is also a WC on this floor.
Stairs lead to the first floor where the landing provides an additional seating area with WIFI and satellite TV giving a variety of UK channels. The vast master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with twin basins and a bath. There is a 2nd double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a family bathroom with a bath and separate shower. Steep stairs lead from the landing to a mezzanine room which can either be a twin or a double bedroom, plus 2 child size bunk beds taking the maximum capacity to 10.
Almost all the rooms open onto balconies which run around the building and there is a small garden with outdoor furniture for dining in the Summer.

La Ferme du Tour is in the heart of the hamlet of le Tour, a traditional Savoyarde village at the top end of the Chamonix Valley. It is 11 kms from Chamonix itself, with Argentière just under 3 kms away (5 minute drive).
There are a couple of bars/restaurants in le Tour, a short walk from the chalet. The nearest supermarket and bakery are in Argentière, plus a good selection of shops, restaurants and bars.
La Ferme du Tour is literally metres from the La Vormaine nursery slopes. The main le télécabine is 200 metres away giving access to the whole of the Domaine du Balme ski area, meaning the chalet is in a rare ski-in, ski-out position. There is also a bus stop very near to the chalet for access to the rest of the ski areas.
There are a couple of bars/restaurants in le Tour, a short walk from the chalet. The nearest supermarket and bakery are in Argentière, plus a good selection of shops, restaurants and bars.
