Our Opinion

Chalet les Sauberands has a number of distinguishing features that make it a first class property. The TV room is light and spacious and really doubles as a second sitting room with access directly onto the deck. The downstairs office is a good size and overlooks the garden. Both the hot-tub and outdoor pool (summer only) boasts spectacular views of Le Brevent and the Mont Blanc range. All this means that there is generous space for groups to spread out. Finally its proximity to the town centre whilst having ample grounds in a quiet area make it a very popular choice.

Location

Chalet les Sauberands is situated just to the east of the town centre. It is on Chemin des Sauberands and close to "les Planards" nursery slopes. It is 450 metres on foot to Avenue Michel Croz, the start of the main shopping streets in Chamonix. The nearest supermarket is Casino in the town centre (650 metres) or Carrefour Market (same distance. There are a couple of restaurants and bars within 200 metres, but the main choices are in the town centre. For access to the skiing, the nursery slopes of les Planards are a short walk away. For the main ski areas, the nearest is Brévent, just to the north of Chamonix centre, 1500 metres away (3-4 minutes by car or bus). The nearest bus stop is 200 metres away at the gare du Montenvers, with the main train station 450 metres away.

From the hallway a door gives access to ski storage and a heated boot rack. The boiler room has a washing machine and tumble dryer. First Floor The living area, dining area and modern kitchen is open plan and very spacious. Three sets of glass doors open onto a balcony with mountain views. Steps lead down to the deck and hot tub and opens onto a large garden. Second Floor 1 en-suite bedroom, 2 further flexible bedrooms and a separate bathroom.
