Résidence Iris opens into a hallway with generous storage and a washing machine. The bathroom was replaced a few years ago and has a shower above the bath. The living area has a small kitchen in the corner, a double sofabed and a dining table for 2 . Glass doors open onto the balcony which is very private and sheltered as it is within the roof. It faces south and provides great views of the Aiguille du Midi and Mont Blanc range.
In summation, Résidence Iris is small but perfectly formed! A great option for 2 people on a budget.

Résidence Iris is situated just to the south-west of Chamonix town centre. It is 350 metres from the main shopping street, Rue Docteur Paccard (4 minutes by foot), but many amenities are in the immediate vicinity.
The nearest supermarket is Spar (main season only) which is just around the corner in the square in Chamonix Sud. There are several bars within a minutes' walk, including the Jekyll, Munster and Monkey with restaurants including the Jekyll again, l'Impossible and several along Avenue de l'Aiguille du Midi.
For access to the slopes, it is very convenient with the main bus stop just 150 metres away. The nearest ski area is Brévent, 2 minutes by bus. Apartment Marcel is also no more than 2 minutes' walk to the Aiguille du Midi cable car, giving access to the infamous Vallée Blanche.
