About Mountain Base

Mountain Base was established in 2004 by Matt Edelsten, Andy & Andie Symington who were later joined by Meg Fuller in 2015. The business has grown significantly over the years and now has two offices in Chamonix: Mountain Base Locations which provides a range of quality holiday chalets and apartments; and Mountain Base Chamonix Properties for those looking for a real estate agent in France. 

Mountain Base is a fully registered French business (Carte Professionnelle No. CPI 7401 2018 000 030 519). In order to hold this we are obliged to maintain a 'Garantie Financière' against which customer money is protected, giving peace of mind when booking with us.

Our aim at Mountain Base Locations is to provide the perfect accommodation for your stay in the Chamonix valley.  Whether you're looking for a short break, a family holiday, a group trip to the mountains or a whole season we have plenty of properties to choose from.  We have built a portfolio which we think will impress you in range of size, location and style.  What doesn't differ is the quality - all properties provide free WIFI, parking, well-equipped kitchens, laundry facilities, hotel-standard bedding - everything to ensure you have a great stay. We offer flexible arrival days and have live availability so you can choose your dates, check your price and book your holiday...it's as easy as that!

Once booked we have an enthusiastic, dedicated and knowledgeable team to guide you through the arrival process, meet you at your property and assist with any queries you may have during your stay. We're also happy to organise lift passes and advise on mountain activities and experiences so you can make the most of your time here and go home with great photos and wonderful memories!
