Alpes V is a spacious, modern apartment with a light, airy feel and wonderful views of Mont Blanc from the picture windows. Situated in a fantastic location just behind the high street means that all the local amenities are in easy walking distance and the nearest bus stop is only 150 metres away. Fully equipped with everything you need for a self-catering holiday, this sunny property is all about convenience.

Bedrooms

The apartment sleeps up to 5 people in 2 bedrooms and a mezzanine. There is a maximum of 4 separate beds available, configured as follows:

  • Bedroom 1: Double room with access to the shared family bathroom and separate WC
  • Bedroom 2: Flexible twin or double room with access to the shared family bathroom and separate WC
  • Mezzanine level: A single bed on an open mezzanine with railing, accessed by stairs from the hallway

Our Opinion

This apartment offers a central yet peaceful retreat as it faces away from the main street, Rue du Dr Paccard, towards the river. The addition of the mezzanine sleeping area makes it a great option for families of 5 as well as providing more flexibility for groups. The fabulous location, perfect for skiers and non-skiers alike, coupled with the apartment’s modern design and numerous windows makes Alpes V a popular choice. For larger groups we have another 2 bedroom apartment, Alpes IV, located in the same building.

Location

The apartment is in the recently completed Résidence les Alpes, situated right in the centre of Chamonix alongside the River Arve on Chemin des Alpes. Situated just off the main street, Rue du Docteur Paccard, it's location means that the numerous shops, bars and restaurants of the town centre are a very short walk away. The nearest supermarket is Petit Casino which is 150 metres from the apartment. For access to the slopes, the nearest bus stop, Chamonix Centre, is 200m away. The nearest ski area is Brévent, 2 minutes by bus or car, just to the north of the town centre. The famous Aiguille du Midi cable car, for access to the Vallée Blanche, is 600 metres away.
