Clos du Savoy is practically ski in and ski out, situated just 100 metres from the Savoy nursery slopes which connect with the Brevent Planpraz lift. The apartment is also just a 3 minute walk from the high street where you’ll find numerous shops, bars and restaurants. Clos du Savoy’ interior is smart, spacious and offers breathtaking views of Mont Blanc and Les Drus.

Our opinion

Location, location, location. Clos du Savoy has this in spades. Its proximity to the Savoy nursery slopes, the centre of town and local transport links make it ideal for families with young children and there is no need to have a car. The apartment also boasts spacious living areas and an especially large, fully equipped kitchen that is perfect for self-catering holidays

Location

Clos du Savoy is nicely situated, just to the east of Chamonix town centre, less than 300 metres (3 mintues on foot) from the main shopping street, Rue Joseph Vallot. There are several shops and a bakery in the immediate vicinity, with the nearest supermarket (Casino) in the Alpina Centre, 300 metres away. Aside from the numerous bars and restaurants in Chamonix centre, there are several notable places nearby, including Papillon (take-away), Satsuki (Japanese) and the Michelin-rated Café de l'Arve. For access to the skiing, the apartment backs on to the Savoy slopes, giving direct access to the Brévent ski area. The nearest bus stop is 200m from the apartment.
