BreventBrévent

Brévent is linked to Flegere and is accessed from the Planpraz Gondola which is a 5 minute walk or a 3 minute bus ride from Chamonix centre. Consisting of mostly blue and red pistes, with a couple of green slopes for beginners. A well earned lunch at the aptly named "Le Panoramic" restaurant is highly recommended. At the end of the day confident skiers can take the "Charles Bozon" black run all the way down to the Savoy slopes (snow permitting) and Apres at La Folie Douce. Lift status, piste map and more information

FlegereFlégère

Access to Flégère is via the main cable car in the village of Les Praz, a 5 minute drive from Chamonix, or from Brévent via the Liaison lift. The gentle wide open slopes of La Flégère are great for beginners and lower level intermediates; while off-piste skiers and snowboarders love it for the deep powder bowls, steeps, drops and trees. Flégère is also home to the popular La Chavanne piste side apres ski bar - a great place to chill-out in a deck chair and soak up the sun. Lift status, piste Map and more information

MrPix - BreventGrands Montets

This area is certainly the most challenging in the valley but don't let its reputation put you off. Grands Montets is situated in the village of Argentiere, a 10-15 minute drive from Chamonix. You'll find this a diverse resort, from the nursery slopes of Les Chosalets, the wide blues of Marmottons, the steep Bochard red through to the immense Point de Vue black. Add to that the natural moguls of la Herse and the huge powder bowls of the Glacier and Lognan, it is not to be missed. | Lift status, piste Map and more information

Le TourDomaine de Balme - Le Tour & Vallorcine

Le Tour is a 15 minute drive from Chamonix and is a great area for skiers & boarders of all abilities. Beginners can enjoy the nursery slopes of La Vormaine, while intermediates can practice their technique on the wide varied pistes from the top of Les Autannes. The Vallorcine side resort offers plenty of off-piste possibilities for advanced skiers & boarders and there is a wonderful treeline run all the way down to the village where you can enjoy a fabulous lunch at the Le Cafe Comptoir. | Lift status, piste Map and More Information

Les HouchesLes Houches

Based in the town of Les Houches this ski area a 10 minute drive from Chamonix. It is especially suited to beginners and intermediates with its meandering pistes through the forests. This is the place for those who love piste side lunches. Uniquely, all the restaurants and refuges in this area are privately owned providing excellent variety and freshly made cuisine. Vallee BlancheVallée Blanche

The Vallée Blanche is the famous 20km off-piste run which starts from the top of the Aiguille du Midi and finishes in the centre of town (snow permitting). This route runs along the Mer de Glace Glacier and is NOT marked, maintained or patrolled. Therefore it is highly recommended you book a high mountain guide if you would like to experience the amazing powder and spectacular scenery this run has to offer. Access to the Aiguille du Midi is available with a Mont Blanc Unlimited skipass.
