Mountain Base is excited to announce a vacancy that has become available in Chamonix. The role is responsible for delivering the concierge service provided for Chamonix Prestige guests. It is a part time / flexible role around bookings which involves working in the office and out in properties around Chamonix, les Bois and Lavancher. Working alongside the property manager and housekeeping teams, key responsibilities include:
- client liaison pre arrival and in resort
- supplier liaison to manage guest reservations / equipment hire / lift passes etc
- coordination of breakfast supplies and stock for bookings
- final chalet checks and preparation for guest welcome
- meeting and greeting guests
- updating bookings and assisting with social media content.
The opportunity to progress and develop the role is available for the right person. This would be a management position alongside the concierge. Responsibilities would include the strategic development and coordination of Chamonix Prestige, owner liaison and support, marketing and developing the portfolio.This would be a full time permanent position on a French contract requiring flexibility to include weekends.
We are therefore looking for a motivated, energetic, team player who enjoys working with clients and suppliers. Experience in rentals or the service industry is essential as is good attention to detail and the ability to use initiative and manage time effectively. The management role requires experience in sales and business development. English and French (both written / verbal), proficient IT / administration skills and driving licence are necessary to be successful in either of these roles.
