Our opinion
This is something a little different, incorporating a modern, contemporary design into chalet form, with light-filled space and lots of glass to maximise the wonderful views. It is in a very appealing position, no more than a 15-minute, very pleasant walk along the river path to both Chamonix centre and les Praz, via the tennis club and pool/sports centre. Location
The chalet is in La Plaine des Praz, on a peaceful semi-pedestrianised walking/cycle path that runs the length of the Arve river. It is located 5 minutes from the tennis courts and swimming pool and an easy (flat) 15-minute walk into the centre of Chamonix itself. The village of Les Praz is a 15-minute walk in the opposite direction, with a choice of restaurants, bars and local shops as well as the golf course and Flégère lift. Regular buses run from near the chalet to all the ski areas in the Valley.Natural risks
