Our opinion

The owners have used the chalet exclusively as a second home rather than as a rental, so it has been well-maintained and is in excellent condition. It has been arranged well with added extras including a sauna, gym area and cinema room in the basement. The chalet would suit someone looking for a lock-up and leave option with minimal exterior maintenance and plenty of space to store bikes and winter kit.

Location

Chalet Frost is in a peaceful, sunny area in Plaine des Praz, within easy walking distance of Chamonix golf course (1200m) and a pleasant walk along the river to the town centre (1400m, 20 minutes). It is also close to the main sports centre (swimming pool, tennis courts, etc, 1200m) as well as many walking trails and cross-country ski tracks in the Bois du Bouchet. For public transport, there is a 'Proxi-Bus' stop to La Flégère lift within 75m of the chalet, another general bus stop on Route des Praz (350m), with the nearest train station at les Praz (1000m). The closest ski lifts are at La Flégère (1.2km).
