About Grand Massif
The Grand Massif, the 4th largest ski area in the French Alps, is made up of 5 connected resorts: Flaine, Les Carroz, Morillon, Samoëns and Sixt Fer à Cheval. It offers picture-perfect mountain villages, a variety of unique landscapes and a great range of ski slopes.
Halfway between Chamonix and Geneva, the Grand Massif is only 60 minutes from Geneva, with a multitude of outdoor activities and hiking routes around 2 nature reserves.
The ski area is spread over 5 connected resorts, an unlimited white paradise made up of 139 slopes, 265 km and 62 ski lifts located between 700 and 2500m above sea level. A wide variety of slopes means that there's somethig for every level of skier. Sourrounding by acres of forests with stunning views of the Aravis, the Arve valley and over the Jura towards Lake Geneva.
The 5 resorts offer a wide range of original and varied activities, on the snow, on the ice or in the air, from thrills to relaxation and cultural activities, all the ingredients are there to ensure that there is something for everyone.
It is also a popular summer destination with traditional villages, souvenir shops, local crafts, mountain cheese and traditional restaurants. You can choose between hiking, Mountain Karting, mountain biking, paragliding, canyoning or golf.
