Petit Ours is a charming open plan mazot (a small chalet) providing stylish accommodation for up to 3 people. On the ground floor there is a spacious shower room. The kitchen is fitted and cleverly designed and there is a generous dining table. The seating area is centred round a contemporary log burner and has a double sofabed. Large, glass doors give access to a decked terrace with outdoor dining furniture. There is Wifi, and a flat screen TV with UK channels. This terrace overlooks mature gardens and there are lovely mountain views. Stairs lead from the living area to a mezzanine bedroom with twin beds. Ski equipment can be stored in a room which is accessed from outside and also houses a washing machine. There is external parking. There are not many properties which give a small group the option of staying in a chalet rather than an apartment. Petit Ours gives this chalet option, with a perfect blend of chalet charm and up-to-the-minute design.

The mazot sleeps up to 2 people in 1 mezzanine bedrooms. There is a maximum of 2 separate beds available and the room can be configured as a twin or a double.



Petit Ours is located in the popular Favrands residential area of Chamonix, a quiet location to the south west of the town centre. Rue Paccard, the main shopping street in Chamonix, is a pleasant 10 minute walk (1200 metres). The nearest supermarket is Marche U in les Pelerins, 500 metres away. The nearest bars and restaurants are the Jekyll and l'Impossible (600 metres), with many other facilities in Chamonix itself. For access to the slopes, it is recommended that guests have a car in this location for the most flexibility. The main bus stop is 650 metres away along Route des Pelerins, with a local connecting bus close to the chalet.
