Summer Lift Passes

There is one main type of summer lift pass in Chamonix, the Mont Blanc Multipass - giving you access to Chamonix’s 3 main visitor attractions and the lifts in 7 different areas around the Chamonix Valley & neighbouring resorts.

Aiguille du Midi (including Step into the Void)*
Tramway du Mont Blanc*
Montenvers Mer de Glace (train & ice cave)
Brévent lifts
Flégère lifts
Le Tour & Vallorcine (also known as Domaine de Balme)
Les Grands Montets (including the top cable car *May be out of use in summer 2019 for repairs*)
Les Houches (Bellevue & Prarion lifts)
Les Bossons chairlift (up to the Glacier des Bossons)
Megeve & Saint Gervais lifts

*Panoramic Mont Blanc lift not included, you will need to pay for this separately
*In July & August you will need to reserve a place in advance for the Aiguille du Midi or Tramway du Mont Blanc - ask us for details

One day lift access free 
Buy any 6-9 day duration lift pass and get one day free. For example, buy a 6 days pass but only pay for 5! This offer is only available online.

Family summer lift passes
Family passes are valid for a minimum of two adults and two children at a discounted rate. Then the 3rd, 4th and 5th child get a free pass, bringing the cost even further down (maximum of 3 additional children).

Winter Skipasses

There are three main types of skipass in Chamonix depending on what you want to do, how high you’d like to ski and your level of experience. The Mont Blanc Unlimited (MBU) is for skiers who want to experience the high altitude off-piste of the Vallée Blanche and the top of Grands Montets*, and Chamonix Le Pass is for those who prefer to ski at slightly lower altitudes on more intermediate pistes. 

Mont Blanc Unlimited Ski Pass
This is the skipass that does everything - giving you access to 3 countries, 10 different ski areas and Chamonix’s 3 main visitor attractions. 

What’s included for skiing: 

Les Houches ski area
Brevent / Flegere ski area
Les Grands Montets including the summit cable car *Out of use winter 2018-19 for repairs*
Le Tour & Vallorcine (also known as Domaine de Balme)
Valley floor beginner ski areas: La Vormaine, Les Chosalets, Le Savoy & Les Planards
Courmayeur ski area in Italy plus unlimited access to the Skyway Monte Bianco cable car (Italy’s equivalent to the Aiguille du Midi cable car) (2-21 day pass*)
Evasion Mont Blanc ski area, Mégève & Saint Gervais (2-21 day pass*)
Verbier, Nendaz, Veysonnaz, Thyon ski areas in Switzerland (6-21 day pass)

*Please note that to access the Courmayeur, Evasion Mont Blanc and Verbier ski areas you must also present your lift pass receipt as well as the actual lift pass.

Chamonix Le Pass
This ski pass is the best value option if you prefer to stay on groomed runs, or need to stay local perhaps because you have children in ski school. It gives you access to three ski areas within the Chamonix valley: 

Brevent /  Flegere ski area
Les Grands Montets (excluding top cable car to summit)
Le Tour & Vallorcine (also known as Domaine de Balme)
Valley floor / beginner areas: La Vormaine, Les Chosalets, Le Savoy & Les Planards
Free access on the public buses in the Chamonix valley

Lift pass insurance covering search and rescue, repatriation costs and refunds for unfavourable weather is also available at 3€ per person per day.

Les Houches Only Skipass
Situated in the lowest part of the Chamonix ski area, with wide rolling pistes, Les Houches is perfect for families and beginners.

Winter Special Offers

Family ski passes
There are two skipass options for families; Chamonix Le Pass and Mont Blanc Unlimited which you can read more about above. Family passes are valid for a minimum of two adults and two children at a discounted rate. Then the 3rd, 4th and 5th child ski for free, bringing the cost even further down (maximum of 3 additional children).

Early bird special offers
Buy your lift pass before the end of November 2018 and save up to 30%. Valid for the Mont Blanc Unlimited pass only and for the following dates - Saturday 5th January to Friday 8th February 2019 and Saturday 2nd March to 1st or 8th May 2019 inclusive.

First snow (start of season)
Special discounted rates are available at the start of the season (end of November to 3rd week December) for Chamonix Le Pass 4hr/day tickets as well as longer duration Mont Blanc Unlimited passes.

Ski 1 day for free 
Buy any 6-9 day duration lift pass and get one day free. For example, ski for 6 days pass but only pay for 5! This offer is valid all winter on both Chamonix Le Pass and Mont Blanc Unlimited adult, child and senior lift passes.

Spring skiing (end of season)
Special discounted rates are available at the end of the season (April) for Chamonix Le Pass 4hr/day tickets as well as longer duration Mont Blanc Unlimited passes.

Ski Insurance - Egloo

You can choose to add on ski insurance at the point you buy your ski passes with Egloo Protect. It covers search and rescue, repatriation costs and refunds for unfavourable weather. It costs 3€ per person per day (from 1 to 7 days) or 24€ total for 8-21 days. In case of an accident
