Paret Sledging

This is a fun-filled group activity for adults and teenagers to enjoy. You’ll take the last lift up to the mid-station at Grands Montets once all the pistes have closed for the day, then race down to the bottom on a traditional wooden ‘paret’. It’s a bit like sledging but with only one runner underneath you, you’ll be using your legs and body weight to move around and brake.

You will need to wear your ski gear and a sturdy pair of boots (no ski boots though!) high visibility vests are provided and the lift is included in your ski pass - if you don’t already have a pass you can buy pedestrian passes once you’re there. Join a paret sledging session every Wednesday in winter from approximately 16:15. Booking in advance is essential. Other dates may be available on request. Priced per person - minimum group sizes apply.

Wilderness Soirée

Combine Paret sledging (see above) with an evening meal in a traditional Mongolian Yurt, hidden away in the forest. Once you’ve finished sliding down the home run at Grands Montets on your sledges, you’ll be met with roaring fires and a nice welcome at the yurt. Dinner will comprise of a soup starter, followed by a savoyarde meal of salad, tartiflette and a dessert to finish.

This is a great way to celebrate a special occasion, or just to have a lot of fun and enjoy something completely different with a group of friends or family. Wilderness evenings take place every Wednesday in winter from approximately 16:15. Booking in advance is essential. Other dates may be available on request. Price is dependent on group size.

Forest Fondue experience

A unique opportunity to escape the nightlife of Chamonix and venture into the forest for a magical evening of snowshoeing, fondue and vin chaud.

Your guides will lead you on snowshoes to a secluded clearing where you will enjoy fondue like never before*
