Le Brevent 2 is a stylish apartment with a modern, relaxed feel. It is situated just 220 metres from the Brevent Planpraz lift and just a short 5 minute walk downhill into the centre of town where you’ll find Chamonix’s shops, bars and restaurants. Unlike the majority of apartments, Le Brevent 2 features a log fireplace for atmospheric winter evenings and a lovely sunny terrace for alfresco dining.

Bedrooms

The apartment sleeps up to 5 people in 2 bedrooms and a double sofa bed. There are a maximum of 5 separate beds available, configured as follows:

  • Bedroom 1: Flexible double or twin room with en-suite shower room with WC and access to the terrace
  • Bedroom 2: Twin room with access to a family bathroom with WC
  • Living area: Double sofabed

Our Opinion

This is a very comfortable central apartment which is a great choice for those who want to maximise their time on the mountain or those with young children as it is so close to the lift station and the Savoy nursery slopes. The living area has been very well designed and has a great modern kitchen with everything you need to self cater with ease. The apartment also has great outside space with a balcony and terrace leading out onto an open garden which is a great place for children to build snowmen in the winter. In the summer the terrace is a wonderful place to sit in the sunshine with a glass of wine and take in the surrounding scenery. For larger groups we have a 3 bedroom apartment, Brevent 3, located in a neighbouring building.

Location

Le Brévent 2 boasts a desirable location set just above Chamonix town centre and right next to the Brévent-Planpraz lift. The town centre is an approximate 10 minute walk (550m) downhill where there are numerous bars and restaurants within close proximity. The nearest supermarket is Super U, also in the town centre and approximately a 12 minute walk (750m) from the apartment. For access to the slopes, the main lift to Brévent (also linked to Flégère ski area) is just a short walk (220m) from the front door. A bus service runs from the lift station to the main bus stop in Chamonix. Alternatively there is a bus stop on Allée Recteur Payot, 550m from the apartment, giving access to the other ski areas in the valley.

Located on the ground floor, the entrance hall leads to an open plan living area with a modern kitchen, dining for 6 people and comfortable seating. There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms; the master bedroom is flexible (double or twin) and the second is a twin room. The living area has sofa which converts to a double bed. "We were totally delighted with the newly refurbished accommodation of this very stylish 2 bedroom apartment. A fabulous open plan, modern kitchen, dining and lounge area, was perfect to relax in. The induction cooker was superb. Everything we needed was there. The décor of feature wood wall, faux fur throws, build in fire, contemporary furniture and accessories gives this apartment that special modern alpine luxurious feel. The 2 bathrooms are modern with very good water pressure for showering. There are fabulous views from the balcony of living area and smaller twin bedroom. This apartment is in an excellent position for centre of Chamonix and The Brevent Cable Car. We would not hesitate to return here or recommend it to others."
