La Flégère Ski Area

Skiing & Boarding In La Flégère Ski Area

La Flégère is reached from the village of Les Praz, which is a 5 minute drive or 10 minute bus ride from the centre of Chamonix. La Flégère is linked with Le Brévent ski area via the Liaison lift and the two resorts combined make the largest domain in the Chamonix Valley with a total of 56km of pistes and 18 lifts. Both resorts face towards the Mont Blanc Massif so you can enjoy the spectacular scenery whilst skiing.

This resort is best suited to beginners and advanced intermediate skiers and snowboarders. For beginners there are some gentle green and blue pistes accessed from the Trappe and Evettes lifts. For those that are confident on steep red runs, you have the Lachenal and Pylones which are accessed from the Index lift. If you’d like to challenge yourself on a black piste then Floria is a great varied run with plenty of off piste opportunities to the side.

For non-skiers La Flégère has a number of snowshoeing paths accessible from the top of the main lift (see piste map below).

Generally the area is open for skiing and snowboarding from mid-December through to mid-April. Please check the opening dates for the latest information.
